柬埔寨政府拟定全面对赌场进行立法管制，禁止本国公民进入赌场赌博，如果法律被通过，进入赌场的柬埔寨公民将面临牢狱之灾。

　　柬埔寨政府于1997年前后批准外资投资经营赌场业，迄今，全国共有97家赌场，61家正在营业，其中50家获得合法营业执照。政府明确规定，只允许外国人进赌场，柬埔寨人一律禁止进赌场，但至今仍存在许多“漏洞”。

　　据柬埔寨报章报道，国家警察总署副总监28日与全国61家赌场业者开会，主要讨论两项事宜，包括全面禁止柬埔寨公民赌博，减少日益增长的犯罪活动，确保社会秩序及治安良好。

　　国家警察总署国内安全司司长表示，内政部正在草拟法案，全面禁止柬公民进赌场，目前也已完成递交内阁事务部。法律通过草案后，违法公民或赌场业者，将会遭到法律制裁。但他拒绝透露最高刑期。
